The Pine Tree Lumber Company was managed by Charles A. Weyerhaeuser and Richard Drew Musser, and existed from 1890 until 1920 – when the company closed its doors for good. What do you know about the life of Charles A. Weyerhaeuser, his wife Maud (Moon) Weyerhaeuser, and their children Carl and Sarah Weyerhaeuser?
To find out more about this remarkable family, join us at the Morrison County Historical Society’s annual meeting on Wednesday September 18, 2024, at 6 pm. The meeting will be held at the
Pavilion at the Linden Hill Historic Estate. Pat Sharon, the Chair of the Heritage Preservation Committee for the Friends of Linden Hill, will be giving a presentation offering an insightful look into the life, the interests, and the legacy of the Weyerhaeuser family of Little Falls. Annual meeting and election of board members will take place after the presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
A suggested donation of $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers replace admission to our annual meeting. Donations are the backbone of our organization and ensure we can keep our doors open in perpetuity and compensate our skilled employees fairly.
To reserve your spot at the annual meeting, please call the museum at (320)632-4007 by Tuesday, September 17th.
